Free, Confidential Crisis Counseling for Disaster Recovery
CalHOPE, California's initiative under the federally funded Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program (CCP), addresses the emotional and behavioral health needs of disaster survivors. Through immediate, culturally sensitive support and connections to local resources, CalHOPE helps individuals and communities recover, build resilience, and restore stability.
CalHOPE provides free, confidential crisis counseling and behavioral health support to Californians recovering from natural and man-made disasters. Although the CCP is a temporary program, its goal is to equip communities with lasting tools for building resilience, fostering adaptive coping skills, and strengthening local networks to support future recovery efforts.
